Another artwork from the "Things That Come Handy" exhibition held in June 05. The image was fueled by a number of events that took place in my life in the last year or so, mainly a number of individuals who devoted much energy and time into trying to humiliate me on the internet and other media for that matter. Spitting on my work, myself, my friends. It's really amazing what some people are capable of once behind the shield of this so-called anonymity.
I am still trying to graspe the fact of what exactly makes (presumably) ordinary people to turn into absolute human scum when it comes to interactions with others, but I guess this is unavoidable and will most probably continue to happen in the future. As Friedrich Nietzsche once said: What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger. So therefore thank you ... for making me stronger.

Opasno,lombijevski dobro,svaka čast na izgrađenom stilu i tehnici,tvoj rad i ideju bih prepoznao među stotinama drugih.
baš sam jučer gledala dokumentarac o michelangelu i njegovom davidu :)
moram reći da mi se david baš ne uklapa u cijelu sliku al svejedno je rad genijalan i ne gine ti 10
čisto me zanima postoji li neki razlog zašto si stavio ovaj kip na rad - jesi li time htio nešto reći?

Well, you know how women are, they have a sixth sense for that you know. Why you have the urge to BE someone, to be better than others. Something in your childhood? Your home? Your school? Maybe you turned out to be gay one day or wearing your mom's dress? What is it? I'm dead serious, I already wondered this even BEFORE I asked for affiliation.
I didn't say anything about your art when I was standing in the kitchen, but she said you're a bit warped in the head after looking at the stufff you make. Actually she's right, it should have been a warning in the beginning that I was dealing with some fruitcake from a third world country like yours don't you think?
I'm serious, I think you're a very strange guy... just admit it, you're a bit wacko aren't you Domen? Oh well, makes the world a more interesting place now doesn't it ha!
On je sretan sad, napisao je sto misli... Ja bih mu poslao jednu produzenu verziju, mali znak paznje. Bicu mu drago ako zna da si ga inspirisao i posvetio mu jedan tvoj rad. Mozda dobijes i obozavaoca, ko zna :)
Ma dobro je dok ti pishu, znas to i sam. Meni se ovo veoma dopada, odlicno si idejno i tehnicki sklopio ovaj haos. Svaka cast.
ajme koji je to tek lik :) ovo s produženom verzijom nije uopće loša ideja, i da je usput posvetiš njemu :)
